norwegianviking - K98k Radom

The K98k has a very interesting story. It has a very rare polish F.B Radom 660 receiver from 1939. It was made right before Germany invaded Poland. When Poland was invaded Germany took the rifle and used it in the Kriegsmarine (It has a fading M with an eagle on the stock), and someone told me a couple of years ago that it might have been issued in the Luftwaffe too. It was used in Norway, and after the war it was re-chambered to 30-06. A couple of years later it became one of about 10000 other Norwegian Mausers (which are long gone by now) re-chambered to 7.62 NATO. It is also worth noting that this is one of the few Norwegian Mauser I have ever seen without the HÆR, HV or MARINE marks. It is almost 100% matching (the bolt head is wrong). The condition is very good, almost like new.
