Chinese Type 56-2


A few distinctive features on this one,
The shape of the folding stock, (also not all of the 'woodwork' is actually plastic)



It's not designed to have a bayonet, so no attachment lugs,


State factory 66 (which should mean it was produced before 1973?)


Pistol grip is a unique shape,


Enclosed foresight,

Got this one from Ryton and I'm very happy with the service!

Yugoslavian M70B1


I'd read that the Yugo M70's were one of the best AK clones and in the hand you can see that is true. They feel like a quality weapon. Stock is hardwood not laminated. THey also have a few unique cool features;

The foresight incorperates a flip up night sight,




The M70 also has the facillity to mount a grenade launching spigot,

Threaded muzzle,

And flip up grenade sight,


Rubber shock absorbing butt pad,


The plastic grip is also different,


I bought this unseen, online from Ryton and it was nice to see that it was all matching numbers and dated 1989, so before the wars in the former Yugoslavia.



The forestock also has two distinct marks on it, kill tally?,


Lastly the action shots  ,

Another easy way to spot an M70 is the three slots in the foregrip.
