oOnly the Hungarians turned the sg series (goryonov) into a gpmg No russian weaopns had a bipod and that looks like a stepanov mount. A late type mount that was used with the playma and PK series.

Thats definatly an interesting piece though. a rare find or at least rarely seen

there was a table of SG-43b model 43 and 44 dated (with dust covers A model did have covers) made in Russia at Zid for £260 each at a show I was at a couple of weeks ago i wish I had bought one

thats egyptian manufacture you can tell from the barrel. the SG-43 and 43b had heavy smooth barrel. but her similar but these were sold without the mount.
