This sort of stuff happens all the time. I have lived next to a permanent 2 year block party and its pretty scary getting these types of people showing up to take crack and stuff on your doorstep. Id stand there, the only white person for 50 miles, watering my plants wearing tourist beach shorts and looking like a nerd whilst they talked openly about criminal activity people and smoking drugs.
I dont mind so much, but the reality of guns in the community is very sobering when you live next to people like this.
The fact that the victims, 3 of whom are in a critical state wont say anything speaks volumes about what these areas are like.
If you enjoy reading stories about people shooting each other you dont have to wait long in America. There are stories like this virtually every day.

TAMPA --
The Tampa Police Department continues to investigate a shooting where four males were shot.
The shooting happened near the area of N. 17th Street and E. 24th Avenue just after 10 p.m. Sunday.
According to reports, a fight broke out during a block party, and at some point, someone began firing a gun.
The four were hit by gunfire and were taken to Tampa General Hospital by people who have not been identified.
One of the men, Kenneth Royal, 22, was treated at the hospital and released.
The other three victims, identified as Terrico C. Newsom, 21, Joe Fussell, 23, and a 17-year-old male, are all in critical but stable condition.
Police said the victims are not cooperating with the detectives, so there is no suspect information to release.
Investigators said they don't know what sparked the fight, but they do believe the shooting was not a random act of violence.
